My friends and I were so overwhelmed to experience your great
support to help us save lives. You and the people of Singapore
opened your hearts and brought so much love and compassion to
suffering kidney patients. You called and called, making a remarkable
1.23 million calls.
I saw
the patients and their loved ones who were at the Show crying
tears of joy. I take great comfort that they have you and thousands
and thousands of Singaporeans to give them hope. I know now,
more than ever, that you will never give up on them.
___, the battle is not over. This Sunday,
April 17, my friends at MediaCorp take up another difficult challenge
to do even better to help these poor kidney patients. They need
your support, the same kind of powerful support that you gave
me and my friends last Sunday. I understand that they will be
doing tough acts that require lots of nerves and concentration.
They have been practising day and night to present you another
spectacular show.
