This was meant to be Wakin's career-launching album in Taiwan, but the record company went bankrupt before the LP officially debuted. The June 2002 re-release on CD was not by Rock Records but jointly by Kingstar Panasonic Pte Ltd. and Enerry Enterprise Pte Ltd. in Singapore.

This separate edition of the Last Waltz album, also released by Kingstar Panasonic Pte Ltd. in Singapore, contains Wakin's excellent version of the Kenny Loggins hit "Danny's Song" as track 8. Tracks 9, 15, 16 & 17, which have been Wakin hits in Chinese or English, are all sung on this CD by other artists in English.
