Action-movie superstar Jackie Chan with his whole entourage of friends -- including the likes of Zeng Zhi Wei (Eric Tsang) and Chen Bai Xiang (Natalis Chan Pak Cheung), as well as two lovely starlets from Korea -- sprang a surprise visit on "old friend" Emil Chau. The group was in Singapore to attend to some matters concerning the new pub-restaurant Star East (which opened in mid-August). Check out Jackie's pyjamas-inspired outfit!
Swamped with flowers from them, Emil is speechless for a moment: a rare sight, considering his normal talkative self.
It is, after all, a concert, and so Jackie rises to the occasion quite well by launching into a heartfelt rendition of Emil's popular ballad You Make Me Happy and Sad.
"You're stealing my limelight!" jokes a beaming Emil.
Jackie returns the comment with a lighthearted "Just hand over the mike!" Describing Jackie as a singer with a good amount of "music sense" at the reception party later, Emil is one true fan of Jackie's singing, apparently. The duo had worked together a while ago when Emil was producing the soundtrack for Jackie's latest movie Who Am I.

a deep bow of gratitude.
Emil grins fondly as Tsang declares, "Without me around, you wouldn't know how great Emil's singing is!"
