On a truly chilly evening, a truly heartwarming Christmas concert!

本当に凍えるような夜、とても心温まるクリスマスコンサート！

It took place in front of the Ehrismann Residence,
sponsored by the Yokohama Ehrismann's Supporters Association.

横浜エリスマンズ・サポーターズにより、
エリスマン邸の前庭で行われました。

Hmmm — Can't quite see who this fellow is,
but his playing was lovely ....

うーん、誰だかよく見えないけど
演奏はとても良かった ....

I was really impressed with his technique.

彼のテクニックはとても印象的でした。

Here Fujisaki-san accompanied Camaru-san on a Christmas carol.
Izuru-san also provided backup with his soprano sax.

藤崎さんがCamaruさんのクリスマスキャロルの伴奏。
Izuruさんもソプラノサックスでバックアップ。

Izuru-san has a very mellow sound — so nice for Christmas.
Can't quite see who the fellow on the left side is, though his playing was lovely ....

Izuruさんのメローなサウンドはクリスマスにとてもいい。 左の人はまだよく見えないけど、演奏はとてもいい ....

Camaru-san sounded wonderful, despite the bitter cold!
She sang several beautiful songs in English, too — very special.

厳しい寒さにもかかわらずCamaruさんは素晴らしかった！
英語でも美しい歌を何曲か歌いました。

Here she was accompanied by Murakami Yuichi on bass.
His body language is as expressive as his playing,
so I can't often get a clear shot of him~!

ベースの村上友一さんの伴奏。
彼のボディランゲージは演奏と同じく表現力にあふれ、
写真に写すのがちょっと難しい〜！

for song after song ....

ピアニスト水岡のぶゆき、素晴らしい演奏を次々と....

.... while also trying hard to stay warm!
(Just fine at 7ºC .... NOT!)

....しながらも暖まろうと頑張ってます！うー寒っ！
(７度なんて平気 .... じゃなかった！)

After the concert, a few of us went over to view the home that serves as the cover image of Mizuoka Nobuyuki's second album “Home-bound” — it was so beautiful!

コンサートの後、水岡のぶゆきさんのセカンドアルバム「ホーム・バウンド」のカバーイメージに使われた家を見に行きました。それはもう美しかった！
